Tomorrow’s Air Celebrates Acquisition by Leading Climate Company Wren

Tomorrow’s Air is proud to announce its acquisition by Wren, a leading climate company and Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). Wren has been committed to its mission of ending the climate crisis since its launch in 2019. With backing from a distinguished team of investors including Adjacent, Union Square Ventures and Y Combinator , Wren serves more than 1.5M customers through its individual subscription and business services. The acquisition of Tomorrow’s Air marks the company’s third purchase. Wren also recently acquired Climaider in June 2024 and Klima in April 2025.

“We’re very happy to bring Tomorrow’s Air into the fold at Wren. Tomorrow’s Air has a vision for mobilizing the travel ecosystem to fund climate projects that meet high standards for transparency, additionality, measurable results and lasting impact that we share. By joining forces, we will extend our impact even further,” said Wren co-founder Ben Stanfield.

The World Travel and Tourism Council predicts global travel to grow annually by 3.5% through 2035, outpacing the overall economy. With the number of travelers expected to steadily increase, the urgency to act on travel-related emissions has never been greater.

Tomorrow’s Air was created to make it easy for travelers and travel companies to fund carbon removal with permanent storage solutions as part of their climate action strategy. Through its parent organization, the Adventure Travel Trade Association, and its travel company partners, it has helped raise awareness about carbon dioxide removal among more than 80,000 travelers and ordered over 800 tonnes of carbon dioxide for removal and permanent storage. As part of Wren, Tomorrow’s Air will offer travel companies and individual travelers a broader array of carbon removal projects, emissions calculation, an API for booking system integration, and the possibility of making tax-deductible contributions through Wren’s novel 501c3 portfolio. Individual travelers can calculate and offset their emissions by supporting a curated selection of projects that meet Wren’s high standards for transparency, additionality, measurable results, and lasting impact.

“As the Tomorrow’s Air community has grown and diversified, we have seen the needs of our partners expand,” said Tomorrow’s Air creator Christina Beckmann. “Travel companies that were drawn to us for our ease of use and dedication to innovative carbon removal technologies are now interested in incorporating new projects into their portfolios, booking system integration, and tax-deductible corporate giving. I’m delighted to join the Wren team and offer a more comprehensive service to travel companies.”
